Kristin Kreuk sarà la protagonista in Beauty and the Beast, il drama procedurale The CW ispirato alla serie anni ottanta della CBS, scritto da Jennifer Levin e Sherri Cooper: l’attrice vestirà i panni di Catherine, una detective della omicidi del New York Police Department. Il suo personaggio, quando cercherà gli assassini che hanno ucciso nove anni prima la madre, si imbatterà nella Bestia, Vincent Koslow, il sopravvissuto di un esperimento militare che è andato disastrosamente male, è diventato un supereroe. Catherine aiuterà Vincent coprendo la sua identità segreta. Nella serie vedremo anche Austin Basis vestire i panni di JT, amico di Vincent.
